Solum is seeking an outstanding field sales leader to play a key role in shaping the direction of the company’s growth. The Field Sales Manager will be responsible for program sales and account management within an assigned region. The role represents a key regional leadership position and requires excellent direct sales, new business and account management capabilities.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s (required) or Master’s degree (preferred) in agronomy or a related agricultural discipline, and a minimum of 10 years of experience in direct agricultural sales. In addition, the successful candidate will have a successful track record in business to business sales, with experience in the precision agriculture and agronomy sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Lead critical activities necessary to advance Solum’s field measurement programs with key agricultural service providers and their grower customers
- Responsible for business growth within the assigned region
- Interface directly with customers in order to build long-term, strategic relationships
- Prioritize and develop key customer relationships and field research opportunities
- Monitor and report sales and key customer activity within the assigned region
- Contribute to company strategies, national programs, and pricing policies
- Coordinate sales events within the region: product launches, educational meetings, field days
